Actor Spotlight

The Franco Nero Collection

With piercing blue eyes and a coffin in tow, Franco Nero exploded onto the screen as Django. He became one of the biggest international stars of the genre.

When Franco Nero dragged a coffin through the mud in 1966's Django, a new icon was born. Nero brought a youthful, intense energy to the genre that contrasted with the older American stars often imported for these productions.

His career spanned diverse roles, from revolutionary mercenaries in The Mercenary to corrupt sheriffs and vengeful brothers. This collection celebrates the versatility and charisma of the man who will always be the original Django.
