Curator's Take
“A Greek tragedy based on the Orestes myth. It’s incredibly stylized, with flashbacks and trauma playing a central role. A hidden gem for those who want something deeper than just shootouts.”
Why This Movie Is Important
An ambitious retelling of the Greek tragedy of Orestes. By mapping classical mythology onto the Wild West, the filmmakers elevated the genre, giving their story a timeless, tragic weight. It highlights the intellectual aspirations often hidden within these low-budget films.
