Curator's Take
“One of the better unofficial sequels. It mimics the style of the original well, with plenty of mud and machine guns. It captures the nihilistic tone even if it lacks Corbucci’s touch.”
Why This Movie Is Important
An attempt to keep the franchise alive. It relies on the now-mythic iconography of the character, proving that Django had become a folklore figure, an open-source hero for any director to use.
